Welcome to University Housing Services! In order to log into the UHS housing portal and start the process of applying for on-campus housing at San Jose State University, please click on Login link above and enter your SJSU ID number and login password above (given to you when you applied to SJSU). If you have just submitted your application to SJSU, please wait 7-10 business days to receive your SJSU ID number and login information from the University, and then you will be able to log into the UHS housing portal. If you are a new Faculty or Staff member and have been issued a SJSU Employee ID number, please email email@example.com or call the Housing Office at 408-795-5600 and we will assist you. Once you have logged in, make sure to carefully review each page so that you have the necessary information to make the best selection for your housing and meal plan choices (and parking, if applicable).
To be considered for an on campus housing space, you must complete the following steps:
Complete and submit the Housing application
- This will include reviewing and signing the Housing COVID-19 Addendum
- This also includes signing the License Agreement at the end of the Housing application
- Comply with the SJSU COVID Vaccine Requirement by completing the attestation and uploading your documents for verification
Students will not be assigned a housing space or billed until they have completed the SJSU COVID Vaccine Requirement and been verified.

Have you considered living in on campus housing at the International House? The International House is open to U.S. and International students. Any SJSU student can apply! For more information about the International House and their application process, click here.
Should you accept a space at the International Housing and want to cancel your space with University Housing Services, upon receipt of your cancellation request and verification of your assignment at the International House, your contract with University Housing Services will be cancelled and you will receive a credit for the initial housing payment and any additional housing charges ($50 non-refundable application fee excluded) paid to University Housing Services.
