Welcome to University Housing Services! In order to log into the UHS housing portal and start the process of applying for on-campus housing at San Jose State University, please click on Login link above and enter your SJSU ID number and login password above (given to you when you applied to SJSU). If you have just submitted your application to SJSU, please wait 7-10 business days to receive your SJSU ID number and login information from the University, and then you will be able to log into the UHS housing portal. If you are a new Faculty or Staff member and have been issued a SJSU Employee ID number, please email candace.degerli@sjsu.edu or call the Housing Office at 408-795-5600 and we will assist you. Once you have logged in, make sure to carefully review each page so that you have the necessary information to make the best selection for your housing and meal plan choices (and parking, if applicable).

To be considered for an on campus housing space, you must complete the following steps:

Complete and submit the Housing application
- This will include reviewing and signing the Housing COVID-19 Addendum
- This also includes signing the License Agreement at the end of the Housing application
Comply with the SJSU Immunization Requirements by completing the attestation and uploading your documents for verification

Students will not be assigned a housing space or billed until they have completed the SJSU Immunization Requirements and been verified.

All students must submit their COVID-19 vaccination requirements and comply with the CSU COVID-19 Policy. This requirement includes completing the COVID-19 vaccine primary series and booster shot, when eligible.

Live at the International House

Have you considered living in on-campus housing at the International House? The International House (I-House) is home to U.S. and international students who are freshman through graduate students. As an SJSU housing option, the I-House community provides a diverse and welcoming intercultural living environment.

The application process for the I-House for the 2024-2025 Academic Year is still being finalized. Please check our website for updates. Should you decide to complete the current housing application available for the 2024-2025 Academic Year, you will have an opportunity to indicate your interest in the I-House. Once the I-House application process is finalized current I-House residents and new applicants who expressed an interest in the I-House will be contacted. Information about how to apply will be posted on our website as well.
